[comp.sys.mac] Beep sounds for Mac II

cosmos@druhi.ATT.COM (GuestRA) (01/11/88)

Are there any additional beep sounds in the public domain for the Mac II? If
so, can someone send them to me or tell me where to find them?
Thanks,

there is a huge sound file I posted on NGP.UTEXAS.EDU in the public
dir. it is FTP able with an anonymous login.
this contains many "souncaps", which are easily converted with
utilities/stacks on info-mac.

BTW, if anyone knows of any good places to ftp to for macintosh software
could they e-mail me and tell me? thanks

NGP has been out of service since December. It's replacement,
EMX.UTEXAS.EDU, an eight-processor Encore, is still flakey after
several months and so far there's no plan to put any of the Mac
stuff from NGP onto it. I was told that if I'd like to see the
ftp stuff back, I should call up the Comp Center people and beg.
