Well this brings up an interesting point. Either my monitor or video card is starting to go bad on my Mac II. Vertical scan is starting on alternate scan lines, making the screen really blurred vertically. It's been exactly 91 days since I bought the machine. The local store is probably going to fix it under warranty. Therefore I suggest that you DONT buy the Apple product. Buy something with a longer warranty. I only bought the Apple because it was high-quality and convenient, but the warranty definitely sucks. When you consider the substandard warranty, the Apple product is inferior. I suggest you look into mail-ordering a Sony Multiscan monitor. It has the same picture tube as the Apple, but has an anti-glare coating, and is discounted to about $649. The Apple and Sony have the most beautiful picture of anything around (and that's important). You can sell a multiscan to an MS-DOS maniac and get something different later.
