There is a small P.D. cdev that does disable the cache. I have a copy of it so I know it works. It goes by the name toggle cache. I am quite sure that it is available on sumex or from the server at princeton (the former accessible by ftp and the latter only over rscs on bitnet). The authors name is 68020 Cache Cdev by Jan Eugenides (I just pasted this from the comment field). This is mainly useful for c.p. game programs with self modifying code. As I don't use games very much I don't often use it, but it does work. Paul Fons fons@uxe.cso.uiuc.edu

If it's really small, and potentially very useful (such as this cdev certainly is), could someone who does have access post it to comp.binaries.mac?
