[comp.sys.mac] Lightspeed acting strange

cnc@hpcilzb.HP.COM (Chris Christensen) (01/27/88)

I have a strange problem with LSC. I have version 2.11 upgraded to 2.13
I am running under 4.1 and after I run my program from under Lightspeed
I can no longer double click on the project window to open a file. I can
at first.

Can my program do anything to mess this up?

Is your program running under Switcher or MultiFinder? Does LightspeedC act
in any other strange ways after you return? I've not seen this problem, and I
use LightspeedC on a Mac Plus under System 4.2, or on a Mac 2 under System
4.2.
It's possible that your program's smashing either the project file, the mouse
parameters, or something completely random.

I would like to append a couple of comments to those below from an earlier
article:

I was having a different but similar error with my LSC:

After double-clicking LSC would open the .c source text file I selected
perfectly. However, when encountering an error during the syntax check the
compiler, instead of moving the cursor to the invalid line in the already open
window, would open another window with the exact file minus the local changes I
had just made. I was forced to save everything and close the window before
doing a compile. What a royal annoyance!!!

No, I wasn't running under the Switcher or Multifinder.

Any thought???
