Go with a CDC Wren III hard drive, there are the ones they sell for
minis and mainframes:

      16-18.5ms
      90 MB formatted
      The Manf. states 30,000 MTBF
I think NuData and Jasmine sell it around 1400-1500

Hmmm.

Wren III's come in several configurations. I have 6 of them on my desk
attached to a SUN 3/60 -- mine have 5 platters (9 heads), so I get
141Mb formatted. We got two of them in a box with power supply,
controller, etc. for about $5k. Yeah, they are fast, and I like 'em.

The OEM manual doesn't list a "90Mb formatted" configuration. Which
model is this?
