I know this is an old subject (I'm slow), but I would appreciate a little help in this trivial matter from those who know. I'm about to give up on Uninvited. I can't get the little guy who runs around. I can't get through the door in the den. I don't know what to do with the animals I cage. I don't know how to get by the group of zombies in the maze. Etc. I've gotten hints on things like the little guy who runs around (he's hungry) but I've tried everything (except the correct process) and I can't trap him. If getting his key will lead me to solving the further problems, I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me the answer to his puzzle (or some other progress-stopper). Thank You, Hunter Gordon If it doesn't show up in the header (I'm new at this non-Mac stuff) my address is something like: hg0g+@andrew.cmu.edu

Sorry about the cloned message. I am not quite sure how far you have gotten in Uninvited, but you mention caged animals, so you must have gotten past the zombies and found the animals and the bouncing creature. The thing to do is to cage the bird and release it next to the bouncing creature (the clue for this is the painting in the entry hall of an egg staring intently at a painting of a bird, can you believe it?), this should allow you to get the gem. The gem happens to be exactly the shape of a certain hole (I can't make it too easy). Once past here you meet a very strange demon, who looks hungry. The solution to this can be found in the greenhouse. After this (and assuming you have found the safe combination) you will find a cookie. Guess who wants a cookie? After this is should snowball the the conclusion. Smokefoot
