I bought Hyperdialer and have used it for about a week now. It is a very small package (about 2"x1"x1.5") and has three cords out of it. It will work with any phone because it plugs in between the handset and the phone. It our office, for example, we have a two-line phone and it works fine. Other multi-line business or regular single line phones will work fine too. The third cord plugs into the mac speaker port. The Hyperdialer speaker sounds slightly tinnier than the Mac speaker, but is ok. I use it to dial numbers with the Hypercard phone stack (called from my address stack) I merely lift the handset and click on the phone icon. Works great. Additionally during the course of your phone conversation you can have all kinds of hypercard sounds! (gunshots, road-runner, 3 stooges, ...great stuff) Other dialers may not support the speaker port (QuickDex for example) and will not work with Hyperdialer. But any Mac phone dialer that uses the speaker port will work fine with Hyperdialer. Hyperdialer is sold by Datadesk for about $29.95 nivek Aka : Kevin Dowling Bell: (412) 268-8830 Arpa: nivek@rover.ri.cmu.edu Mail: Robotics Institute Carnegie Mellon University Pgh, PA 15213-3890
