Okay, I am looking at a Mac SE out of its case and a M0219 2 meg memory expansion kit. My dreams are of 2.5 meg of memory. The trouble is I don't know which bank(s) of memory to replace, SIMM1/2 or SIMM3/4. More critically, I am not sure how to wire the ram size resistor jumpers, labelled on the circuit board as "256k bit" and "One Row". My guess is that both should be jumpered with a resistor (150 ohms?), but an alternative interpretation is that just the "One Row" jumper should be installed. If anyone knows the bottom line on this, please respond (preferably to marsella@aramis.rutgers.edu). The thought of putting that crazy box back together again w/o the expansion is ruining my friday night entertainment. stacy marsella@aramis.rutgers.edu
