I forget what the Brits are using - is it 240volts and 50Hz? the British also have different wall-plugs (3 prongs, polarized) while Germans have 2 prong, non-polarized) ... so, the question is, will the purchase of simple replacement power-cables in Germany allow British Mac+ and IW1 to work without problems in Germany? yes, I finally got my hands on a pair of those babies .... and while we are at the topic of migrating hardware ... while I have hacked the power-supply of British Macs to run on 110volts in the USA, I have not found a way to convert the ImageWriter to run with 110volts .... has anyone? -- werner@rascal.ics.utexas.edu (prefered address) kraut@emx.cc.utexas.edu kraut@ut-emx.UUCP (or ...!ut-sally!ut-emx!kraut)
