[comp.sys.mac] Mac II screen distortion/programmer's switch

I just recently aquired a mac II and there are just two small problems
I thought others might have as well.

	1)  I have the apple high res color monitor as well as apple's video
	board with the 256 color upgrade. The upper left quandrant is 
	slightly enlarged with respect to the others.  The effect is as 
	though the screen were being pulled to the upper left.  The menu
	bar is wider on the left than on the right, and rectangles are
	similarly distorted.
	
	Has anyone else noticed this?  Any ideas where the problem
	might be? Either the card or the monitors?
	
	2)  I've been unable to install the programmer's switch, there have
	been remarks concerning this on the net, but my problem is that the
	upper fingers hit the internal shielding on the inside of the case
	and I've been unable to get it in.
	
	Any suggestions would be appreciated.
