[comp.sys.mac] Lightspeed Pascal and SigmaEdit

rs4u+@andrew.cmu.edu (Richard Siegel) (02/23/88)

The problem lies with SigmaEdit; it fails to dispose with a locked handle
in lower memory, and this plays havoc with Lightspeed Pascal's pre-execute
heap compaction. It's not a Lightspeed Pascal bug.

Leonard Rosenthol (author of SigmaEdit) knows of the problem, and is taking
steps to fix it.

To misquote Chuq, "fixed in 1.2".....Sorry for all the grief that this
oversight may have caused (I know Rich was upset!).
