[comp.sys.mac] Mac SE & II startup screens

Can someone out there tell me how to do what is probably a very
simple procedure involving the startup screens for System 4.2

I have been playing with the SuperPaint save as startup screen
option.  I renamed the file as StartupScreen and put it in the System
Folder and everything works fine.  But how do you get the box with
the "Welcome to Macintosh." and other (e.g. Macsbug Installed,etc.)
messages to appear with the new screen?  The cdev icons such as
Moire still appear in the lower left corner as usual.

One more thing, how do you get a startup screen to fill the entire
Mac II screen?  The images fill my SE screen with no problem.  They appear
in the usual way when booting my Mac II but only occupy the smaller
area as with the SE screen.
