Just read an article in the Wall Street Journal... Here an excerpt of the contents (no permission, ofcourse) Cupertino, Calif. - Apple Computer Inc. introduced a device that allows its personal computers to read compact optical data-storage disks and to play audio CD's. The machine, called the Apple-CD SC will carry a suggested retail price of $1,199 and be available in May. It can be used with Macintosh and Apple II computers [Finally, the long-awaited CD-Rom seems about to hit the streets.
