[comp.sys.mac] mac II prom upgrade incompatibilities

a person at this site has been having problems loading Macsbug5.5 into
his system (sys 4.2/6.0/1.0) on a Mac II with the new (B version)
proms. we've been using Macsbug5.5 for several months on many of
our other machines.

has anyone else seen this or other prom upgrade incompatibilities ?

i put this question to Apple (via AppleLink) and will forward it to
anyone who is interested.
