MacWrite 4.5 has been acting strangely lately. Quite often (but not always) when I start a new document, the ruler is graduated in centimeters rather than inches. I can open an old document and the rulers will once again be displayed properly. Has anyone had this problem and/or knows how to solve it? Also, can Stuffit be run on a 512K Mac with the old, 64K ROMs? When I try to unstuff something I get an ID=17 bomb (can't locate package), suggesting it's looking for something I ain't got... This has happened with versions 1.10 and 1.20 (I haven't seen 1.31 on GEnie yet). Any help would be appreciated. Gary Thompson University of Southwestern Louisiana cs451128@usl-pa.usl.edu

I've used version 1.10 and 1.20. I am now using 1.31 and that works fine too. Are you missing a resource from your system file? Try using a different boot disk....(just a suggestion). > >Gary Thompson >University of Southwestern Louisiana >cs451128@usl-pa.usl.edu >---------- ---- Lee Atchison Hewlett Packard, Information Networks Division Cupertino, CA 95014 atchison%hpindda@hplabs.hp.com
