I have a 512Ke; can I use hypercard on it at all, even if it can only accomodate a minuscule stack? Or does hypercard look for 1Meg and refuse to run if there is less? -w (mail please - I'll summarize and repost..) wms@cevax.berkeley.edu

That's why even on a SE off the shelf you really can't use MultiFinder and HC very well together. But there is a glimmer of hope in the distance. I read in an interview with Bill Atkinson that he is working on a strickly Brouse mode version of HC with no Scripting, etc. that will run on the 512K. I hope this materializes as I have some educational stacks that I'd like students to be able to use on a 512K machine that is not likely to be upgraded. 'These are only the shadowlands.' C.S.
