Well, the Appletalk Imagewriter is here, but it doesn't exactly work. It prints the first line, and then freezes. The Mac says that the Imagewriter isn't responding. The test print says the Appletalk board is OK and I've checked all the connections (I went so far as to connect it only to one Mac, freeing it from the rest of the network.). Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong? Well, I solved my own problem. I took the cable out of the back of the printer and gave it a good hard look - there were only SEVEN pins. Just to be sure, I went in to work and took a cable from the back of a Mac Plus, brought it home, and installed it. The printer now works like a charm. Funny thing about only seven pins in an eight pin connector ...
