[comp.sys.mac] WriteNow font changing

cordy@qucis.UUCP (Jim Cordy) (03/15/88)

Thanks to all who responded to my request for ways to change all occurrences
of one font in a WriteNow document without changing the other fonts.

As it turns out, it is easy and documented in the WriteNow manual (a hazard of
working on a Mac is that you tend not to look there). The technique is to
select any part of the document which begins with the font you want to change
and to hold down the Shift key while choosing the font to change it to in the
Font menu. That's it! All occurrences of the font beginning the selection
will be changed to the font selected from the menu without changing any others.

Two people made the comment that that was the reason that they originally
bought WriteNow!
