We are considering building a prototype EtherTalk network including Apple IIGS's
(if possible), Mac II's, and IBM PS/2's or other compatibles. First question:
Is is possible to get an EtherTalk card for the IIGS? If not, how much trouble
is it to use a combined LocalTalk/EtherTalk network? Is this required anyway
to use the LaserWriter Plus/IINT/IINTX or the ImageWriter II with the AppleTalk
option? I'm not going to need a Kinetics Box to do this, am I?
Has anyone used the new AppleShare or Print Server yet? What about on
EtherTalk?
If anyone has any comments, suggestions, etc., please let me know
