A prof here is considering buying the ImageWriter LQ and asked me
to inquire if there are any third parties that are supplying the
triple size fonts that are needed to get the highest resolution
from the printer. Apple currently supplies Times, Helvetica, Courier
and Symbol. They say they will supply more in the future, but when
that will be is difficult to say.
On a related matter, has any one heard any rumors about a version
of the IW LQ with a normal size platen? (I'd buy one of these
myself...)
