Keywords:cicn, memory, cdev Well back to the whipping pole... It seems now to be a major problem with colors the CDEV by Joel West and color icons. I'm trying to understand but my knowledge is still to shallow when it comes to memory management on the mac (and many other things ...|-() The problem with memory being gobbled up when using cicn in alertboxes and trying to edit menucolors and anything else in the controlpanel using colors remain, and I sure would like to know why. Is this a problem with Joel West or apple or the people who has so far supplied us with the color-icons or the color-icon editor the one that came recently on the net gives me the same problem. It was called CIcon Edit and is real nice. The author Ben Haller writes: "CIcon Edit is just about done." Well I dont think so, it's a great little thing but would it not be nicer not to have to find out with ResEd or such what ICONs and Icn#s are available? Something like an other Iconeditor (black and white) I think it was named: "ICON Designer" and was distributed about half a year ago.It would let you see a list of the ICON ID's as well as the ICONs when you selected a file! that would be nice!!
