I purchased a Migent Pocket modem for a friend this past weekend. While we were trying it out we noted that unlike the Apple modem I use, the Migent did not 'hangup' when logging off. We used Smartcom II, Red Ryder 10.3, and MacKermit. Sending either three plusses or allowing the communi- cations program to handle the modem had the same effect, none. Is there some setting that we need to adjust to get this modem to work? Is there anyone else who has used this brand of modem and not had the problem who might be able to indicate the week simply have a 'lemon'?
