[comp.sys.mac] Use 256K SIMMs in Mac II?

Does anyone know if there is a product available that will let
you utilize 256K SIMMs in place of 1Meg SIMMs in the Mac II?

What I have in mind would be daughter boards that each hold
4-256K SIMMs and plug into one of the 1 Meg SIMM slots. This
would allow you to expand your memory up to 8 Megs. using 256K
SIMMs, rather than the current 2 Meg limitation with 256K SIMMs.

This might be very useful (or a cheap NuBus board to hold lots of
256K SIMMs) given the low availability of 1 Meg. SIMMs.

Information Request..Architectural Packages

I am interested in what is available to assist in doing architectural design
for physical buildings, such as homes and office spaces. I know about MacDraft, but would be interested in getting tips on what to examine in terms of
architectural CAD systems. Pls respond via email, since our news feed is in
some state of change.

Thank you.
