Now that's certainly a first. NOT use Disk First Aid? Why on earth not? I have NEVER, EVER heard of Disk First Aid further damaging a disk. It can't do the job 80% of the time, but when it can, I've always found it works. As for MacZap, I highly recommend it as a very good recovery program for both floppies and hard disks.
