MACazine, May 88, page 39, Good Buys & Other Stuff column mentions this new gadget: HyperDialer, $34.95, DataDesk International 7651 Haskell Ave. Van Nuys, CA 91406, 1-800-592-9602 or (818) 780-1673 and I quote: the box plugs into the handset jack on your phone and into the speaker port on your Macintosh. Your telephone hadnset then plugs into the speaker port on your Macintosh. Your telephone handset then plugs into a jack on the HyperDialer case. There are no power connections. To dial a number you simply lift the telephone handset, make sure you have a dialtone, then tell HyperCard or QuickDex to dial your number. Or, if they're still making them, you can get Borland's PhoneLink
for $15. Works the same way.
