I've downloaded three different versions of PopIt! from CompuServe, plus the version that was submitted to me for posting to comp.binaries.mac. I've tried various system versions. I can't get the blasted thing to work. Anyone got any helpful hints? What DOES happen is that the cursor changes into the "PopIt!" cursor when I hold down the shift-clover. As soon as I hit the mouse button, crash. (Configuration: Mac+, 1MB, 128K ROMs, various system/finder combinations) The documentation isn't very helpful, thus my plea for help to the net. Thanks in Advance... -- Roger L. Long dhw68k!bytebug

Now that I know you have Compurserve access, I won't mail files to you, I'll just point to them on Compuserve :=). > >What DOES happen is that the cursor changes into the "PopIt!" cursor when >I hold down the shift-clover. One possiblity is you are running out of memory. If you are trying it under Finder, try launching a small application (non-multifinder) such as binhex 4.0 and try it there. Otherwise more details on how it crash (bomb, flicker screen/noise, etc.) would help. > >The documentation isn't very helpful, thus my plea for help to the net. > >Thanks in Advance... >-- > Roger L. The routines necessary to execute pop menus are found only in System 4.1 and up. Below that, and it probably would bomb. Hope this helps. -ajw -- Andy J.
