I wish to move an internal 40mb apple hard disk from a mac II to my other mac - one of the original 128K (that's RAM, not ROM!) with a home brew 1Mb upgrade, a big fan, new ROM's, and a third party SCSI (will DOVE's work with this drive?). Putting the drive internal will save finding a box and power supply for the drive, but I am not sure the ps in the mac is up to the extra load. I recall the original power supply boards had some bad components (in particular, a zener diode of inappropriate value). Please recommend how to beef up, heat sink, etc, the power supply for the hard disk, extra memory, and SCSI port -- or is this impossible? Thanks in advance.
