Hypercard Vers 1.1 Has been available through dealers for a couple of weeks at least. I got mine through Computer Plus (Sunnyvale) about 3 weeks ago. It is a free upgrade if you bring in one of your master discs and a blank disc to copy the upgrade to. TeriAnn

And yet, I got my version 1.1 of HyperCard from my dealer, copied off a legit looking properly labelled Apple disk! This was about 2 weeks back. So maybe Fort Collins IS the Choice City. Scott Bayes @Fort Fun

User groups can be licenced to distribute System & HyperCard updates. I know because I arranged for our group to do so. As in a dealer you have to show your master disks in order to get the upgrade. You also have to be an offical member of the user group in order to qualify to recieve a copy of the update. Apple sent us a roll of labels and a set of master disks and we make the copies and may charge a nominal fee. Check with your local user group to see if they are signed up for this service. If they are not you can always join ours and you can arrange to get your update via mail by sending your master disks in for a "recharge!" We haven't done this for anyone yet but I'm sure it can be arranged. Email me directly if you have any further questions. t-jacobs@utah.ced.edu -- Tony Jacobs * Center for Engineering Design * U of U * t-jacobs@ced.utah.edu
