Recently I read in an rumor article that Canon has begun sabotage on their own toner cartridges in order to stop users from refilling them. The article states that the toner contains abrasive particles that don't damage the cartridge or affect the output the first time around, but they wear out the cartridge enough to make them unrefillable. Can someone confirm this or deny it? Thanks. --chris P.S. The article is Spencer F. Katt, April 26, 1988 PC Week.
