I posted a query about this a while ago, and got a lot of helpful responses regarding the AT&T method of voice storage for the UNIX-PC. HOWEVER, I didn't get any information regarding the Macintosh method. The program I saw and have a voice data file for gave an interface showing a menu of voice files and a sampling rate, either 11KHz or 22KHz, I think. I'd like to know the format in which the sound is stored. Is it linear PCM? Or how is it encoded? Anyone got a clue? I have the file in two versions (that may or may not be directly supported by the program) -- one is the raw data, and the other is the data converted to ASCII numbers. All help and suggestions/conjecture will be appreciated. G. Mark Stewart ATT-BTL, Naperville, ix1g266 ixlpq!gms 979-0914
