If I was testing some dangerous software on my computer and I had a external drive I would disconnect it, turn the power off, and take it to the other end of my house. But since you have a internal drive, like me, you can do the next best thing. Do this: 1) Restart your computer and insert disk right after. 2) Hold down the SHIFT-OPTION-COMMAND-DELETE at the same time during reboot, until the computer is booting off of floppy. This will disconnect the SCSI port. It is only a software disconnect, I think, so It may not be perfect but you will not be able to mount any hard drive. Hope this helps.
