Joe Kwan (jkwan@cory.Berkeley.EDU) asks: >I'm using a copy of VersaTerm Pro (v2.2 ?)... and it has an auto-zoom feature too... >except that whenever I put it in the background, instead of zooming into a tiny >window... it zooms to a window that's the full size of my monitor (Mac Plus)... this >gets a little akward... is there some way to reset this? Yes. The way to do it is to click in the zoom box on the right side of the title bar, thus zooming the window while it is active, resize the window to whatever you want it to be when in the background (or when you click on the zoom box), and save the settings. Voila! The zooming is useful in other ways. I have 2 monitors, one 19" and one 13"; I normally use VersaTerm with the terminal window covering the smaller monitor, "Multifinder Zooms" turned off (in "Extras..."), and use the zoom box to give myself a huge screen covering my entire 19" monitor (very useful in the VMS debugger) when I want it. Thus, I can easily toggle between two pre-defined screen sizes at will. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan Stanfill Multimission Image Processing Laboratory Jet Propulsion Laboratory ARPA: dfs059@mipl3.jpl.nasa.gov SPAN: MIPL3::DFS059 -----------------------------------------------------------------------
