I am considering purchasing a Mac II sometime late this year. I would like to correspond with users who are using a Mac II as their personal machine. Ideally, I would like to talk to students who are doing term papers and such on one. I am also trying to figure out a way to "turn those idle cycles into dollars" with the machine I purchase. It would sure make the loan payment easier. I know this is more of a business application, but keep in mind that I would just be typing papers for people and perhaps doing newsletters. Just write me and tell me about your configuration, what software you run, problems, caveats, etc. I am a convert from the MS-DOS world, so I am not entirely sure of the terminology and such yet.
