Dear World, Our site recently got a shiny new LaserWriter IIntx :-), but unfortunately the only access to it from my MAC+ is via a serial line to the UNIX host it's connected to :-(. I first tried to save the PostScript output to disk (clover F), upload the file to the host and then dump it to the LaserWriter. But it quickly became apparent that the LaserPrep stuff has to be sent to the beastie first. That's the problem. I tried prefixing the laserprep stuff I found at sumex-aim, but without any luck (does the change in processors have anything to do with this?). Now I've got this nice LaserWriter II Installation Disk that has the latest version of LaserPrep on it sitting in front of me. Does anyone know how I can turn it into a PostScript-readable form for tranmission over the RS-232 link? Any help would be really appreciated. Frank Ferrie
