Hi folks,
I am sure this has been asked many times. Well here it is again.
What is the best way for macs (assume SEs and IIs) to share
laserwriters with suns, or other unix boxes on an ethernet. (oh,
yeah, assume MacOS, if it were A/UX, there would be no problem.)
The macs are not yet networked (in fact, most haven't been even
ordered yet!). Is it to give all the macs ethernet cards, and attach
the laser to a sun? Or attach it to appletalk and route through a mac
from the sun, or what? Hardware and software, please. Is TOPS the
only thing around or are there other software pieces?
