Excuse me if this has been kicked around before, but I couldn't find anything on it. Is it possible to hook up a "homebrew" SCSI controller/drive to a MacPlus? I have several SCSI setups using variaous controllers/drives. My understanding is that the commercial drives made especially for the Mac come with an HFS partition already set up. Is this true? Can I use the SCSI setup program from the system disk, once I have the thing physically connected, or do I have to lay down some Mac-specific infomation on the drive first? Thanks for any help. -- David Beckemeyer | "Reckon the Ball's plumb open now, Beckemeyer Development Tools | and it's `swing partner'!" 478 Santa Clara Ave, Oakland, CA 94610 | - Unnamed Cowboy, upon seeing UUCP: ...!ihnp4!hoptoad!bdt!david | heap many Indians approaching
