I've been attempting to use Vision Lab 0.67 (formerly SuperVision) to change GIF files into EPSF (encapsulated postscript) so that I can place GIF pictures into PageMaker. Vision Lab seems to do everything okay and PageMaker has no problem placing the graphic, except when it comes to the printing. Nothing happens. PageMaker theoretically sends the file to the printer, the LaserWriter Plus blinks to show that data is coming through, but there is no output. I've tried using the Apple driver instead of Aldus Prep, but to no avail. Since PageMaker has no problem printing EPSF files from other applications, my guess is that Vision Lab is omitting some vital information when writing the EPSF file. Does anyone out there have a fix for this? (Does anyone know what I'm talking about?) Vital statistics: Mac II with 5megs, System 4.2, Finder 6.0. Lasers 4.0, PageMaker 2.0a. Kanthan. P.S. Vision Lab is highly recommended for its versatility in viewing colour images. I'd like to see this turned into a full-blown commercial project. My compliments to the author. -- Do I really need a signature?
