== chew on this, you slimy line eater == Does anybody know if the new system software release handles the desktop any better than the current 4.2/6.0 stuff? Anyone with a hard disk, and especially those of you with the higher-capacity ones, has probably been frustrated to some degree by the horrendously long desktop updates after copying or trashing files. I am aware of the init (?) packaged with the appleshare software that greatly speeds destop updates, but does Apple have any plans to incorporate these routines into the regular system? Will we have to wait for System Tools 7.0?? -Ken ksr@eleazar.Dartmouth.EDU
