MacCompress is a macintosh application which compresses/decompressesses files for use with unix "compress". This latest version fixes some bugs in earlier versions and adds functionality. Here at Stanford, I've put maccompress21.hqx on labrea:/pub and on portia:~lloyd. I've also sent it to info-mac@sumex-aim for archiving, but my mail always comes back unsent from there. Anyone who can get mail to me (lloyd@monk.stanford.edu) can ask me for a copy and I'll reply with a copy in the mail...

I think lloyd owes us an explanation as to why this was not posted to comp.binaries.mac. (I couldn't get through by mail as bean.stanford.edu is not a valid NIC address; *do something about it*). -- ARPA: jack%cs.glasgow.ac.uk@nss.cs.ucl.ac.uk USENET: jack@cs.glasgow.uucp JANET:jack@uk.ac.glasgow.cs useBANGnet: ...mcvax!ukc!cs.glasgow.ac.uk!jack Mail: Jack Campin, Computing Science Dept., Glasgow Univ., 17 Lilybank Gardens, Glasgow G12 8QQ, SCOTLAND work 041 339 8855 x 6045; home 041 556 1878
