I am not a mac user and do not subscribe to these groups, so if you could mail me responses I'd really appreciate it. (actually, maybe I'd better subscribe at least temporarily). We have a couple 512k vanilla MACs here that we'd like to use as tektronix 40xx and 41xx emulators for debugging graphics packages on our unix minis, TEX previewers, etc. Are there any public domain 40xx emulators for the MAC? Does MAC kermit do this? Are there any reasonable priced packages that do this? I'd really like to put some macs to use here to prove to some folks that there are alternatives to pc's that are easier to use and more productive. I use an amiga myself. (see, an amiga person proposing to use mac's. Geez, what are the amiga flamers going to say about this? :-) Dave Rasmussen c/o Computing Services Division @ U of WI - Milwaukee Internet: dave@csd4.milw.wisc.edu Uucp: uwvax!uwmcsd1!uwmcsd4!dave {o,o} Csnet: dave%uwmcsd4@uwm Bellnet: +1 (414) 229-5133 \u/ ICBM: 43 4 58 N/ 87 55 52 W Usnail: 3200 N Cramer #E380, Milw WI 53211
