Are there any good UUCP mail applications so I can receive and read mail under MacOS? Also, how about software for receiving and reading news feeds for MacOS? (RN is the preferred reader!) I am currently using our Sun system at work for both, but would like to have the Mac at home handle these jobs as it becomes increasingly harder to find the time to read news and mail at work. A friend intends to write UUCP software, but I'd like to set things up sooner than it's anticipated completion. I'd prefer the software to run in the background (like a print spooler), but this is not necessary. I plan to purchase a telebit trailblazer for the purpose of receiving news, so it would again be preferred if the software handle the speed at which the data would come in on the trailblazer, but I'll run it slower if necessary, so the speed issue isn't a prerequisite (I anticipate buying a UNIX PC in the next year or so, at which time I'll transfer all mail/news responsibilities to it since I know it'll handle everything I want to do.) I have an Mac SE, if this is of any consequence. Please reply through UUCP mail as there are too many messages to weed through at work in this newsgroup (refer to previous reason for needing the software!) -- Philip E.
