Greetings, I am preparing a presentation and need to "clip" some art from the "Art Ideas" stack (eg; the Mac art, and some telephones, etc.). I know this is possible, but I can't figure it out! What's more embarassing I've seen it done. Little did I know that SOMEDAY (like NOW!) I'd wish I'd been paying closer attention. I have RSG 4.0 (4.0A coming "in the mail"), WORD 3.02, MacDraw (Old), MacPaint (old), and all the usual standards. I'm running Multi-finder at the moment, but if that's a prob, I don't have to. Anyone that can tell me how to put the clip art into the clipboard for export to another prog - I'd be forever grateful (or at least until I get this project finished!). Best Regards, Pete Ferris Bell Communications Research E-mail, preferred!! pff@thumper.bellcore.com

Go to the card that has the picture you want to copy. Select the Lasso tool from the Tools menu (it looks like a loop of string). Now use the lasso tool to select the piece of art by clicking and dragging the line around the picture you want. It should then start shimmering. Now select Copy from the Edit menu. You now have the sucker on the Clipboard, and you can procede to RSG. I hope this helps... Robert Brewer brewer@clio.las.uiuc.edu {ihnp4 | convex | pur-ee}!uiucuxc!clio!brewer
