There is, I believe, a public domain program called "Layout" written by Michael O'Connor which allows manipulation of the Finder LAYO resource. Very slick program -- allows setting the "View by Icon" offsets graphically, etc. I have a copy here and would upload it, but I haven't the vaguest idea how (or if) I could do so. +++++ Scott Forbes student, University of Illinois

Sorry, this has NOTHING to do with the subject at hand. I was scanning
subject headers on this newsgroup when I noticed the current subject heading
