According to today's issue of MacWEEK, Icon Review filed for Chapter 11
protection from its creditors on June 29th. Two days before the filing,
Dennis Moncrief (founder, president, and CEO of Icon Review) left the
company; officials refused to comment on the nature of Moncrief's
departure.
Icon Review had been in financial trouble for some time, and several
weeks ago laid off almost 50% of its staff and put a freeze on all
accounts-receivable orders.
So, if you were planning on mail-ordering any Mac products through Icon
Review, you'd be well advised to find another source!
