Looking through Inside Mac Volume 5, I can't seem to find instructions on changing the color depth on a Mac II. By color depth, I mean 2 color, 4 color, 16 color, or 256 color mode. I know applications aren't supposed to mess with that setting, but I want to write a loader that automatically switches into 2 color mode for those programs that don't work in multi-color modes. Any help is greatly appreciated. I don't read this group, so please mail to one of the addresses below. David, Take a look at Bill Steinberg's Switch-A-Roo FKey. This FKey (Command-Shift-9) let you change from any mode (2/4/16/256) to another. Best of all...it's free! I'll E-Mail you a copy. Fabian Ramirez fabian@cup.portal.com sun!cup.portal.com!fabian
