Sun Microsystems markets a product called NeWS (Network/extensible Window System) based on the Display Postscript standard. I have installed NeWS, but haven't had a chance to look at the documentation closely. You can probably get the NeWS docs from Sun for about $15. The only manuals we have in our library are the Sun NeWS manuals, and the Adobe printer Postscript manuals. If you have specific questions about Display Postscript I suggest you call Adobe. If you want to know more about NeWS, or the NeWS manuals drop me a line and I'll try to find the info if I get a chance. Scott Storkel System Administrator Sun Microsystems, Inc. The real price is bound to be $20-$200 higher.

I'm sure it will be out by NeXT week. The NeXT machine is so far overdue that's almost becoming the next great piece of vapor-ware, now that FullWrite has been released. :-)

NeXT used to hang around here, giving out t-shirts, coffee cups and posters
to management. I think the business they're really trying to muscle in
on is the knicknack business; they sure don't have any computers.
