If anyone out there is using Language System Corporation's FORTRAN under
MPW (it doesn't run under anything else), and have used calls to
SFGetFile and SFPutFile in their program, could they possibly e-mail a
sample to me? I have done this in Absoft's MacFortran/020, using their
examples as a guide, but the procedure is different in MPW FORTRAN.
Before anyone picks a fight about the choice of FORTRAN vs. another language
there is no other language on the machine I'm using which is as fast (an
a creaky Cyber 205), and when one's written 10 000 lines of code during
a project, one doesn't like to translate it all just because the other
language becomes as good. (But if someone can offer me a FTN-->C
automatic translator, I'm sure that I could make an exception).
(No, I don't need the Mac ToolBox calls for the Cyber. I just like
to run the small problems on the Mac II first.)
