I am looking for some place to sell me a male & female video power
plug that fits into my Mac II system unit. I would like to run both
my modem and my monitor from the Mac II power relay. With the plug, I
can make a Y-cable that will split the power between the modem and the
screen. I'm not yet thrilled with the idea of tearing into my Mac II
screen cable to add an outlet.
Has anyone tried this? The cable is of the Apple alien-to-all-mankind
variety. It looks sort of like something you'd plug into the back of
a demonic radio or a West-Bend toaster oven from hell.
Failing direct knowledge of the plug, does someone know where I can
get a plug catalogue, in an attempt to match the parts? Is the type
of plug documented in ANY macintosh documentation?
