I am having some problems with two of my tapes for Apple's Tape Backup SC. I wonder if anyone knows if the tapes are "fixable" or if I should just throw them out. THere seem to be two different problems: 1) One tape, upon insertion and after the 90 second loading period, just winds back and forth at the beginning of the tape. This continues for several minutes until the software (Tape Backup v2.0b13 or such) declares that the tape is unusable. 2) The other tape doesn't even seem to rewind. I can neither clear, format, or read any of the tapes. phil@ems.media.mit.edu
