[comp.sys.mac] Zmodem for Mac

misko@abhg.UUCP (07/13/88)

I apologize if this has been covered before, but I rarely read the mac
groups. Does anyone know if there is a zmodem available for the Mac?
I have a UNIX version and an IBM PC version and would like to complete
the set. e-mail please. Thanks.

To my knowledge (for what that's worth) there is NOT currently an
implementation of ZMODEM for the Mac availible publicly. (Please notice
phrasing of last sentence!)

Yes, take note of that "publicly". But I will say IT IS NOT from any
commercial software company (yet)... Hopefully, it will be available
within the next month...

Well, Leonard, I happen to know of one ZMODEM interface for the Mac... it's
not
perfect yet, but it'll be there in about 4 weeks (or else the programmer will
be loving life the hard way)... :)
